The Gospel of Christ is God’s Promise fulfilled!

Romans 1:1-4
[1] Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto THE GOSPEL OF GOD,

[2] (Which HE HAD PROMISED AFORE BY HIS PROPHETS IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES,)

[3] Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

[4] And DECLARED to be the Son of God with power, ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT OF HOLINESS, BY THE RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD:

The Patriarchs in the Hall of fame of faith [Hebrews 11]

BELIEVED the Gospel [on a promissory note] and

they obtained a good report by their faith,

THEY ALL RECEIVED

CREDIT ALERT OF GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS [Romans 4]

They had confident hope in the fulfillment of

God’s promise but all died without receiving

THE PROMISE- The man Christ Jesus [Hebrews 11:39-40]

So their faith is confident HOPE [in the Promise]

They sought for the Fulfillment of God’s Promise—Christ
His Incarnation &
His Resurrection

🎯So Hebrews 11:1 can never be the

Definition of our Faith today❌

🎯We are not hoping for the Incarnate WORD to come or

for GOD to raise Him from the dead❌

God became a man—Christ Jesus!

John 1:14-18, 1 Tim. 3:16

Hebrews 11:13,39-40
THESE ALL DIED IN FAITH, NOT HAVING RECEIVED

THE PROMISE, but having SEEN THEM AFAR OFF, and

WERE PERSUADED OF THEM, and EMBRACED THEM,

and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and

PILGRIMS ON THE EARTH.

[39] And THESE ALL, HAVING OBTAINED A GOOD

REPORT THROUGH FAITH, RECEIVED NOT

THE PROMISE:

[40] GOD HAVING PROVIDED SOME BETTER THING

FOR US, THAT THEY WITHOUT US SHOULD NOT

BE MADE PERFECT.

So the Gospel of Christ to them was a Promise

[Hence THEIR FAITH IS [confident] HOPE]

The Gospel of Christ to us is the fulfillment

of God’s Promise [Titus 1:2]

God planned and purposed it,

started it and accomplished it in Christ…

He’s the Author of ETERNAL SALVATION [Hebrews 5:9]

and the Perfecter [Hebrews 12:2].

They were not perfected without us…{Hebrews 12:23]

Now he’s PERFECTED [US] FOR EVER [Hebrews 10:14]

I learnt growing up

Grown-ups now think it’s way too simple to still work

Haven become more sophisticated in our reasoning,

we want some sophisticated solutions to everything

Well, YOU DON’T OUTGROW THOSE BASICS IN

CHRISTIANITY

It’s a DAILY CHRISTIAN LIVING

GOD IN HIS MANIFOLD WISDOM MADE EVERYTHING

THAT PERTAINS TO LIFE [that is] GODLINESS SO

SIMPLE

It’s so simple that the simplicity of a child

is ALL IT TAKES KNOW, BELIEVE and RECEIVE…

But to the human Wisdom [mind, reasoning]

It’s just foolishness

1 Corinthians 1:25
Because the foolishness of GOD IS WISER THAN MEN;

and the weakness of GOD IS STRONGER THAN MEN.

God says: “Believe that I raised My Son-

the man Christ Jesus from the dead and

you’re saved for ever, you have eternal life“

Man says: “Just like that? Only Believe?

How about some 10 keys/steps/principles to unlock

Eternal Life?”

Yes that’s ALL!

The too much of simplicity is why many are

not saved today!

They would prefer some crinkum-crankum methodology

But See God’s Logic
Eternal Life was His Promise [Titus 1:2]

In hope of ETERNAL LIFE, WHICH GOD, THAT CANNOT LIE, PROMISED BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN;

If I promise you sth, do you help me to fulfil it? 🤷🏻‍♂

God promised it, hence HE FULFILLED IT

BY HIMSELF-He became a man to do it

If I give you a law, you must do sth [keep it]

But if I promise you sth, you do nothing!

ONLY BELIEVE ME or NOT

You either BELIEVE ME or not based on my Integrity
[Have I been known to keep to my word?]
[Do I really mean what I say?]

Well, God’s Integrity dey kakaraka
He doesn’t speak a syllable empty or void
Forever His WORD is settled
God can never lie…

So why can’t you trust [BELIEVE] HIS WORD?

1 Corinthians 1:21,27
For after that IN THE WISDOM OF GOD THE WORLD BY

WISDOM KNEW NOT GOD, IT PLEASED GOD

BY THE FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING

TO SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE.

the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen

the weak things of the world to confound

the things which are mighty;

GOD’S MANDATE, GOD’S MESSAGE, GOD’S METHOD
