Seeds, Tithes & Offerings are Scam?

tithes and offerings are scam

Before you take sides or jump into conclusion just from
a text in Malachi, kindly read the following...

I beseech thee under God to please forget what you know or have been told before now, read with so much objectivity (not subjectivity). It’s going to be lenghty but promises to be an educative and interesting read…

1 Peter 3:15-16 KJV
[15] But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and BE READY ALWAYS TO GIVE AN ANSWER TO EVERY MAN THAT ASKETH YOU A REASON OF THE HOPE THAT IS IN YOU with meekness and fear:

[16] Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that FALSELY ACCUSE YOUR GOOD CONVERSATION IN CHRIST.

The inspiration for this post would be from The Scripture (ALONE! and don’t be too lazy to read them) because it is profitable for:

Doctrine (TEACHING)
Reproof (EVIDENCE)
Instruction (TRAINING)... In righteousness

2 Timothy 3:15-17 KJV
[15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto ALL GOOD WORKS.

To better understand the concept of firstfruits and offerings (especially tithing), I would recommend that you read every available scriptures (The whole chapter preferably).

Here are very notable ones, go and read them all by yourself ‘cos this post will only point to salient point you could have missed… Leviticus 27:30-32; Numbers 18;24,26,28; Deuteronomy 12:6,11,17; **Deuteronomy 14:22,23,28; Deuteronomy 26:12; 2 Chronicles 31:5,6,12; Nehemiah 10:37,28; 12:44; 13:5,12; Amos 4:4; Malachi 3:8,10; Matthew 23:23, Luke 11:42; Luke 18:12; Hebrews 7:5,6,7,8,9

The concept of tithing features in at least 12 OT Chapters (30 verses of scripture) but mentioned in passing in just 4 NT chapters (7 verses)

  • (Matthew 23:23 and Luke 11:42)
Jesus condeming the hypocrisy of the Pharisees on tithing just like he did too on the sabbaths, and other aspects of the Law of Moses.

It is very important to note that he never condemned tithing here! neither sabbath nor any other law (but their attitude) because He came to fulfill both THE LAW & THE PROPHETS.

Matthew 5:17-18 KJV

[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, BUT TO FULFIL.
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till ALL BE FULFILLED.

  • (Luke 18:12)
A Pharisee boasting of his “dead works”  (performance) before God in the house of prayer (temple); claiming to fast regularly, tithe religiously etc., and even condeming a publican who later went home justified ‘cos he came without works (not full of himself; feats, status and social standing) But on God’ s mercy
Mercy: You've done something very punishable but you were pardoned!

Grace: You were supposed to be suffering for what you've done
but you're still enjoying what you never deserved!
  • Hebrews 7:5,6,8,9
The book of Hebrew was written specifically to the Jews (People of God); Unconvinced (still practicing Judaism) and the Believer. It is a book of comparisms always comparing and constrasting the Old (obsolete) Covenant and the New (Better improved) Covenant. You will agree with me that no other book does justice to it better other than the book of Hebrew. Less of this was seen in other epistles written to the Gentiles because they were never indoctrinated into Judaism in the first place.

The concept of tithing was mentioned anyway though not as an instruction for us but in the writter explanation of the priesthood of Christ after the order of Melchisedec! (Not Aaron or Levites)

The discourse actually started in Hebrews 5, to Chapter 6 then continued in Chapter 7.

Hebrews 5:6,9-12 KJV
[6] As he saith also in another place , Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

[9] And being made perfect, he became the AUTHOR OF ETERNAL SALVATION unto all them that obey him;

[11] Of WHOM WE HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY, and HARD TO BE UTTERED, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

[12] For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat…

Hebrews 6:9,17-20 KJV
[9] But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and THINGS THAT ACCOMPANY SALVATION, though we thus speak.

[17] Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the HEIRS OF PROMISE the IMMUTABILITY of HIS COUNSEL, confirmed it by an oath:

[18] That by TWO IMMUTABLE  THINGS, in which it was IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE, we might have a STRONG CONSOLATION, who have fled for refuge to LAY HOLD upon the HOPE SET BEFORE US:

[19] Which hope we have as an ANCHOR OF THE SOUL, both SURE and STEADFAST, and which entereth into that within the veil;

[20] Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even JESUS, MADE AN HIGH PRIEST FOR EVER AFTER THE ORDER OF MELCHISEDEC.

Then continued in Chapter 7

Hebrews 7:1,4,11-28 KJV
[1] For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

[4] Now consider how great this man was , unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave THE TENTH OF THE SPOILS.

[13] For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

[14] For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

[15] And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

[16] Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an ENDLESS LIFE.

[17] For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

[19] For THE LAW MADE NOTHING PERFECT, but THE BRINGING IN OF A BETTER HOPE DID ; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

[20] And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest :

[21] (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

[23] And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

[26] For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

[27] WHO NEEDETH NOT DAILY, as those high priests, TO OFFER UP SACRIFICE, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this HE DID ONCE, when he OFFERED UP HIMSELF.

[28] For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is CONSECRATED FOR EVERMORE.

Now all the above Scriptures and statistics are pointers to the truth and  it gives you an overview for which you could readily say emphatically: Tithing (and firstfruits) is an old covenant practice!

Should you tithe? Let us not get ahead of ourselves keep on reading… More Scriptural evidences awaits!

Remember those OT text listed earlier? Let us examine one of them together

Deuteronomy 14:22-26 (The Living Bible)
22. “You must tithe all of your CROPS every year.

24. If the place the Lord chooses for his sanctuary is so far away that it isn’t convenient to carry your tithes to that place,

25. then you may SELL THE TITHE portion of YOUR CROPS AND HERDS and TAKE THE MONEY to the Lord’s sanctuary.

Now, if you’re a good Bible student (which I want you to be), then you’d notice that the tithe God asked the children of Israel to bring was tenth of their FARM PRODUCE. (NOT MONEY! THOUGH THERE WAS MONEY ALREADY IN USE)

You who own no land neither are you a farmer, you want to kill yourself on the matter of tithe?

And, you can see for yourself that Moses said they should EAT THEIR TITHE, EAT IT OH, “EAT IT”  is not figurative o! Chop/eat whatever you crave!  (Verse 26 check various translation)

It was the custom of exchanging your tithe/various offerings (as required by the law) for cash when the place of Worship (Jerusalem) is very far from your locality,  then using the money to buy any of the listed or required items for worship,  that later resorted to BUYING AND SELLING right inside THE TEMPLE

Mark 11:15-17 KJV

[16] And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

[17] And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED OF ALL NATIONS THE HOUSE OF PRAYER? but ye have made it a DEN OF THIEVES.

Jesus quoted from Isaiah 56:7

See John’s Gospel rendition below…

[NLT] John 2:13 It was nearly time for the Jewish Passover celebration, so Jesus went to Jerusalem.

[NLT] John 2:14 In the Temple area he saw MERCHANTS SELLING CATTLE, SHEEP, and DOVES for sacrifices; he also saw DEALERS at tables EXCHANGING FOREIGN MONEY.

[NLT] John 2:15 Jesus made a whip from some ropes and chased them all out of the Temple. He DROVE OUT the SHEEP and CATTLE, scattered the money changers’ coins over the floor, and turned over their tables.

[NLT] John 2:16 Then, going over to the people who sold doves, he told them, “Get THESE things OUT of here. STOP TURNING MY FATHER’S HOUSE INTO A MARKETPLACE!”

Another one,

Same Deut 14:28-29 (TLB)

28. “Every third year you are to use your entire tithe for local welfare programs:

29. Give it to the LEVITES who have no inheritance among you, or to FOREIGNERS, or to WIDOWS and ORPHANS WITHIN YOUR CITY, so that THEY CAN EAT AND BE SATISFIED; and then Jehovah your God will bless you and your work.

Without out further explanation, you’ve seen another aspect of tithing which I’m very sure most Tithing Preacher’s will not want you to see (that’s even if they know it and perhaps they do),  what baffles me is why will they want to obey (Malachi 3:10) and neglect the other (Deuteronomy 14:22-29)?

That was tithing under the Law!

Now! The very first man to Tithe in scripture is Abraham when he was still Abram.

He actually did tithe because things were not tight for him (not “so that things will not be tight”  like some preacher says)

Genesis 14:8-23 NLT
[8] Then the rebel kings of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and Bela (also called Zoar) prepared for battle in the valley of the Dead Sea.

[9] They fought against King Kedorlaomer of Elam, King Tidal of Goiim, King Amraphel of Babylonia, and King Arioch of Ellasar—four kings against five.

[10] As it happened, the valley of the Dead Sea was filled with tar pits. And as the army of the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some fell into the tar pits, while the rest escaped into the mountains.

[11] The victorious invaders then plundered Sodom and Gomorrah and headed for home, taking with them all the SPOILS OF WAR AND THE FOOD SUPPLIES.

[12] They also captured LOT—ABRAM’s nephew who lived in Sodom—and carried off EVERYTHING HE OWNED.

[13] But one of Lot’s men escaped and reported everything to ABRAM the Hebrew, who was living near the oak grove belonging to Mamre the Amorite. Mamre and his relatives, Eshcol and Aner, were Abram’s allies.

[14] When Abram heard that his nephew Lot had been captured, HE MOBILIZED THE 318 TRAINED MEN WHO HAD BEEN BORN INTO HIS HOUSEHOLD. Then HE PURSUED Kedorlaomer’s army until HE CAUGHT UP with them at Dan.

[15] There he divided his men and attacked during the night. Kedorlaomer’s army fled, but Abram chased them as far as Hobah, north of Damascus.

[16] Abram RECOVERED ALL THE GOODS THAT HAD BEEN TAKEN, and he brought back his nephew Lot with his POSSESSIONS and all the women and other captives.

[17] After Abram returned from HIS VICTORY over Kedorlaomer and all his allies, the king of Sodom went out to meet him in the valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley).

[18] And Melchizedek, the king of Salem and a priest of God Most High, BROUGHT ABRAM SOME BREAD AND WINE.

[19] Melchizedek blessed Abram with this blessing: “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.

[20] And blessed be God Most High, who has defeated your enemies for you.” Then Abram GAVE Melchizedek A TENTH OF ALL THE GOODS HE HAD RECOVERED.

[21] The king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give back my people who were captured. But you may keep for yourself all the goods you have recovered.”

[22] Abram replied to the king of Sodom, “I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

[23] that I will not take so much as a single thread or sandal thong from what belongs to you. Otherwise YOU MIGHT SAY, ‘I am the one WHO MADE ABRAM RICH.’

Do you think a poor man could have so many servants, herdsmen and even trained men?

The latter would be like the “Special Agents”,  “Special forces” or “Black Ops” of our time.

Notice He had 318 of them and he mobilized them. He did not consult United Nations et al for negotiation.

Do you think it’s easy to feed at least 318 Adults?

That is no way a poor man!

Also, anywhere you see “SOW” or “SEED” in Scripture as in:

"giveth seed to the sower...",

"And Isaac sowed in the land...",

"they that sow in tears...",

"in the morning sow thy seed and in the evening
do not withold thy hand..."

"seed time and harvest time..." etc...

It’s NEVER figurative nor an allegory!

The “law of sowing and reaping” simply means “planting and harvesting”!

If there’s no rain, There’s Irrigation!

If there’s pest infestation, Get pesticides and Manure (Your harvest is surer than Bet9ja)! Farming is not like stock market o!

Isaac planted, cultivated, employed more labourers, dug wells for irrigation etc and he reaped!

The biblical rich fool also planted, cultivated (possibly practiced mechanised farming) etc. and he reaped it though he never practiced generosity though!

It would be unfair and nothing but preachercraft to say and/or tie those texts to money!

Another Scriptural text twisted mostly as sowing cash to reap 30%,60% and 100% ROI is the PARABLE of the sower, The disciples asked Jesus for the meaning and he said emphatically that the seed is not money but THE WORD!

  • Luke 8:11 KJV
Now the parable is this: THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD.
  • Mark 4:13-14 KJV

[13] And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

[14] The sower soweth THE WORD.

  • Matthew 13:23 KJV

  • Mark 4:8 KJV

And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

Also, I read a book lately but honestly, I’m yet to unravel how a respected minister could say the 100 fold here referred to monetary reward (material prosperity). Maybe you could educate me in the comments if you know.

  • Mark 10:28-30 KJV

[28] Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have LEFT ALL, and HAVE FOLLOWED THEE.

[29] And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is NO MAN that hath LEFT House, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, FOR MY SAKE, and THE GOSPEL’s,

[30] But he shall RECEIVE AN HUNDREDFOLD NOW IN THIS TIME, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, WITH PERSECUTIONS; and in the world to come ETERNAL LIFE.

Reading in context, He was Never in anyway trying to teach Tithing nor sowing breakthrough seed!

For the Gospel’s sake, they would be received/welcomed in various homes (just like when he sent out the 12 disciples), their needs are catered for in those homes and would be among many beloved brethren (who must have responded to the Gospel) etc., plus oppositions to the gospel too (persecution)

NOW Malachi 3 is Christocentric, if you don’t see Christ but tithe then I’m sorry you are really lost.

Malachi 3:1-12 NIV
[1] “I will send My MESSENGER, who will PREPARE THE WAY BEFORE ME. Then suddenly THE LORD you are seeking WILL COME TO HIS TEMPLE; messenger of THE COVENANT, whom you desire, WILL COME,” says the Lord Almighty.

[2] But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap.

[3] He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring OFFERINGS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS,

[4] and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in days gone by, as in former years…

(Matthew 11:10; Luke 1:13-17,76; John 1:6-10;19-28 All that talking about John the Baptist and him preparing the way!)

[5] “So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against THOSE WHO DEFRAUD LABORERS OF THEIR WAGES, who OPPRESS THE WIDOWS and the FATHERLESS, and DEPRIVE THE FOREIGNERS among you OF JUSTICE, BUT DO NOT FEAR ME,” says the Lord Almighty.

[6] “I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.

[7] Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty. “But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’

[8] “Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ “In tithes and offerings.

[10] Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, THAT THERE MAY BE FOOD IN MY HOUSE. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not THROW OPEN the FLOODGATES OF HEAVEN and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

[11] I will PREVENT PESTS FROM DEVOURING YOUR CROPS, and the VINES IN YOUR FIELDS will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty.

[12] “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a DELIGHTFUL LAND,” says the Lord Almighty.

It continues… but take note that the devourer in KJV is simply pests, and it’s not consuming their salary (income)  but FARM PRODUCE!

Floodgates does not mean money will start falling from the sky, it simply means rain (in season and at optimum quantity) which would facilitate increase in farm produce and harvest beyond their barns!

Also, notice God never cursed them, He only stated the obvious! If I call a spade a spade, or refer to someone crazy as crazy (It’s not exactly an insult but stating the obvious).

This alone nullify the evil notion of some preachers that you provoke/invoke “divine curse” when you refuse to pay tithe. That’s very ridiculously ridiculous.

Once you break any of the Mosaic laws and statues (About 600+) of them, you’re automatically under the curse (of the law) and when you obey all, then blessings follows too as a natural consequence. Deuteronomy 28: If thou shalt harken/obey… BLESINGS! If thou shalt not harken (disobey)… CURSES! Check out the chapter and count how many verses for blessings vs curses… It’s very scary than horror stories 😷

So for not paying tithe, they are under a curse (Devourer must come o!)

Now that explains why if you still believe in tithing and offerings as compulsory condition/requirement for God’s blessing and you are very faithful to it, it’ll work for you. But God help you that by chance you miss it, DEVOURER TI TAKE OVER NIYEN O! #OYO is your case! And even after that, YOU REMAIN UNJUSTIFIED BEFORE GOD!

Galatians 3:9-14 KJV
[9] So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.[

[11] But that NO MAN IS JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW IN THE SIGHT OF GOD, it is evident: for, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. (Habakkuk 2:4)

[12] And the law is not of faith: but, THE MAN THAT DOETH THEM SHALL LIVE IN THEM. (Leviticus 18:5)

[13] CHRIST HATH REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW, being made a curse for us: for it is written, CURSED IS EVERY ONE THAT HANGETH ON A TREE: (Deuteronomy 21:23)

[14] That THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM might COME ON THE GENTILES through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the PROMISE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT through faith.

I believe that is clear enough! Tithing is not the only issue under the law, there are burnt offerings, sin offerings, sacrifices, circumcision, ceremonial washing etc. Why should one cling vehemently to Tithing alone neglecting others? Because Money is involved?

Romans 3:20-22,24,27-28 KJV
[20] Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

[21] But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

[22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

[24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

[27] Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Look at What Paul said about the custodian of the law here

Romans 10:1-10 KJV
[1] Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

[2] For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

[3] For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

[4] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

[5] For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

[6] But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above 🙂

[7] Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

[8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

When Jesus said “It is Finished!” it simply means FULFILLED! HE FULFILLED ALL (Including every law and excluding none)!

Hence pay your tithe in compliance with other 600+ laws and statues and still be under curse of the law, or just give generously (not 10% style), willingly/cheerfully without any compulsion only to meet needs and never as a pre-requisite for God’s blessing!

2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV

Every man according as he PURPOSETH IN HIS HEART, so LET HIM GIVE; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9 AMPC

[7] Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving]. [Prov. 22:9.]

As long as there is a need in the Church or outside, give sacrificially to meet those needs like the early Church, not by 10% nor by threats of curses. Below are few examples of such giving:

  • 2 Corinthians 8:1-4 KJV

[1] Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

[2] How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their DEEP POVERTY ABOUNDED UNTO THE RICHES OF THEIR LIBERALITY.

[3] For to their power, I bear record, yea, and BEYOND THEIR POWER they were WILLING OF THEMSELVES;

[4] Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the MINISTERING TO THE SAINTS.

  • Acts 11:27-30 KJV

[27] And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

[28] And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be GREAT DEARTH throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

[30] Which also THEY DID, and SENT IT to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

Jesus, Paul, Peter, John, James and other apostles were not collecting tithes and special breakthrough seed offerings!

Are you a Levitical Priest? If no, why should you want to collect Tithes?

If you quote from 1 Peter 2:9 or Revelation 5:10, I don’t think it has to do with some selected sets of people, every believer is a royal priesthood. “Kings and Priests unto our God” is common to us all so it doesn’t still support nor justify Tithing

Bible recorded some notable women who met needs in Jesus’ ministry

Matthew 27:55-56 KJV
[55] And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:

[56] Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s children.

Also here,

Luke 8:1-3 KJV
[1] And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

[2] And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,

[3] And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

Also, when he sent out his disciples, He never told them to ask for tithes amd offerings nor miracle seeds in every city they entered, He told them to preach the good news of the kingdom, cast out demons, raise the dead, heal the sick, freely you have received, freely you give. Their needs were met not by tithes and seeds… Luke 22:3

  • Matthew 10:7-10 KJV

[7] And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.[

8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

[9] Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

[10] Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

The early church was founded on giving (not 10% style) but by believers meeting every other believers’ need. They gave not to provoke blessing but to meet needs of others!

  • Acts 2:42-47 KJV

[42] And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. [43] And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. [44] And all that believed were together, and HAD ALL THINGS IN COMMON; [45] AND SOLD THEIR POSSESSIONS and GOODS, and PARTED THEM TO ALL MEN , AS EVERY MAN HAD NEED. [46] And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, [47] Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Paul said my hands have ministered…

  • Acts 20 AMPC
[35] In everything I have pointed out to you [by example] that, by working diligently in this manner, WE OUGHT TO ASSIST THE WEAK, being mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, IT IS MORE BLESSED (makes one happier and more to be envied) TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE. .

1 Corinthians 4 AMPC

[12] And we still toil unto weariness [for our living], working hard with our own hands. When men revile us [wound us with an accursed sting], we bless them. When we are persecuted, we take it patiently and endure it.

He also instructed those who steal to steal no more but TO WORK (not sow seeds) so that he can have enough to meet others in need.

  • Ephesians 4:28 KJV

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

The earlier you realise that you need to work, have steady income streams, the earlier you would stop looking for where to sow breakthrough-miracle seeds but doing the needful!

Phil. 4:19 Never said “the Lord will supply all your needs according to your tithes and offerings” but His riches in Glory through Christ Jesus! I believe my needs are divinely met and I meet the needs of others (the poor, brethren in Christ, the local church, the gospel) simple!

On the latter, the primary and major assignment we have as believers is the ministry of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-21) It’s only common sense to know that you’d spend and be spent for that purpose (with your time, talent and treasure). Giving for that purpose (your local church and/or other 3rd party ministry doing just that) is very necessary ‘cos you’d be causing a party (turn up owambe) in Heaven anytime a soul is saved and you’d be rewarded for in Heaven. That is If you agree that heaven is a place of reward for believers anyway. Not a reward in itself!

Any form of giving outside of service to God [to meet specific needs (within our outside the church), wilful honouring the Lord with your substance, advancement of the Message of Reconciliation] but to provoke God’s blessing or to “avoid divine curses like a plague” is pure 21st century fraud/scam!!!

God initiates giving Not you! He blesses you primarily to bless others! It’s nothing but a Ponzi Scam (emotional and financial fraud/manipulation) to say “We give so as to receive from God” That’s unlike what a good good Father would do.

God is the first giver! He gave you first so you could meet other’s need! You gave nothing to your responsible earthly father, yet fathered you (you enjoyed every rights and privileges of fatherhood) How much more The Almighty God?

  • 1 Timothy 6:17-18 KJV

[17] Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in THE LIVING GOD, WHO GIVETH US RICHLY ALL THINGS TO ENJOY;

[18] That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

  • 2 Corinthians 9 AMPC

[8] And God is able to MAKE ALL GRACE (every favor and earthly blessing) COME TO YOU IN ABUNDANCE, so that you may ALWAYS and UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES and WHATEVER THE NEED BE SELF-SUFFICIENT [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].

He has blessed you with ALL THE BLESSINGS you require for LIFE and godliness! discover it (by studying your Bible and walk in it)

  • Ephesians 1:3 KJV

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath BLESSED US WITH ALL spiritual BLESSINGS in heavenly places IN CHRIST:

  • 2 Peter 1:3-4 KJV

[3] According as his divine power HATH GIVEN UNTO US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAINS UNTO LIFE and godliness, THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM that hath called us to glory and virtue:

[4] Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Now you don’t tithe before God sends down rain or blessing. He remains a good good father.

  • Matthew 5:45 KJV

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh HIS SUN TO RISE ON THE EVIL AND THE GOOD, and sendeth RAIN ON THE JUST AND THE UNJUST.

  • Luke 6:35 KJV

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for HE IS KIND UNTO THE UNTHANKFUL AND TO THE EVIL.

  • James 1:17 KJV

Every GOOD GIFT and every PERFECT GIFT is from above, and cometh down from THE FATHER OF LIGHTS, with whom is NO VARIABLENESS, neither SHADOW OF TURNING.

  • Romans 8:32 KJV

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also FREELY GIVE US ALL THINGS?

No conditions are attached to His Blessing and He gives it freely. In fact He demonstrated His love by giving us His very best Gift-even Christ, while we were in our worst state (dead in our trespasses/yet sinners).

If there be any other blessing that you would require tithes, offerings and special seeds to activate, provoke or tap into ehn, It would mean that they are better and/or far greater than Christ himself niyen and it would be a display of doubt in the Integrity of God’s Word especially the Finished Work!

But if you realise the best gift (not exchange) God could ever give to man is Christ! Then you have along with the best, the good and the better also!

Are you saying it’s wrong to give to a minister?

Except if you’re not paying attention, I have answered that already but for clarity sake…

  • 1 Corinthians 9:7,9-14 KJV

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?

[9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?

[10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.

[11] If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?

[12] If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless WE HAVE NOT USED THIS POWER; BUT SUFFER ALL THINGS , lest we should HINDER THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

[13] Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?

[14] Even so hath the Lord ordained that THEY WHICH PREACH THE GOSPEL SHOULD LIVETH OF THE GOSPEL .

As seen in the Four Gospels when HE sent the 12 and then the 70 or so apostles as stated earlier. Never by Tithing still!

  • 1 Timothy 5:17-18 KJV

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. [18] For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

They have to labour o! Haven proven to being dutiful with the Word (not quotable quotes nor motivational, Old wives fables nor enticing words of human Wisdom, High Sounding Nonsense #HSN, Emotional support and Need-based money Gospel)

  • Galatians 6:9-10 KJV

And let us not be weary in WELL DOING: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. [10] As we have therefore opportunity, let us DO GOOD UNTO ALL MEN, especially unto them who are of the HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH.

  • Hebrews 6:10 KJV

For God is not unrighteous to forget your WORK AND LABOUR OF LOVE, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have MINISTERED TO THE SAINTS, and do minister.

Thanks for reading thus far my lenghty infotainment post. It’s either been an eye-opener or a study-provoking one for which eitherway it’s worth the time it took me to compile,  edit (format) before publishing this post

Next time you hear “Tithing is a Scam!” I want to believe you’d know why and possibly share this post to librate people from the wicked oppression of Malachi 3:10

Operation Devour the Devourer!

I could only hope you would stand with Biblical Truth!

You’re blessed because You are in Christ! (Not because of your tithe)

You Don’t Like to hear Eternal Life/Redemption/Salvation /Security?

hebrews-5-9Real Humility Is When You Read God's Word
and Your Heart Is Not Hardened by
Unbelief and/or Mental Strongholds!!!

In the Greek/Hebrew…

Eternal: Alonios /ahee-o’-nee-os/

  • without beginning and end
  • without end, never to cease
  • everlasting
  • past and future
  • that which has always been and will always be

Life: Zoe (simple)

Perish: Apollumi /ap-ol’-loo-me/

  • to destroy
  • to kill
  • to render useless
  • to perish, to be lost, ruined
  • metaphorically to devote or give over to eternal misery in hell

In English…
Eternal (Adjective)
Lasting or existing forever; without end

  • everlasting, never-ending, endless,
  • perpetual, undying, immortal
  • deathless, IMMUTABLE, abiding
  • permanent, enduring, infinite, TIMELESS etc

I heard some folks say “Eternal Life” is the quality of the life, I wonder if they understand English at all. Add “Life” to all the meaning of “eternal” and still tell me it referred to quality not time?

There’s something called “consistency theory of truth” which also agrees with one of the Principle of Bible Interpretation (Law of Emphasis) that “If a concept is repeated two or three times in the Bible, we establish the truth concerning it in the light of ALL available text references…

A classical example is Psalm 110:1

[KJV] Psalms 10:1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

It is repeated severally in the NT
Matthew 22:41-46
Ephesians 1:19-21
Ephesians 2:5,6
Hebrews 10:12,13
it’s always in reference to this particular Psalm.

Every place where we see Christ being SEATED at the right hand of the Father and we being seated with Christ (which is symbolic of His Position of Authority)

Another example is Psalm 110:4

[KJV] Psalms 10:4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 5:6
Hebrews 7:11-28
Hebrews 8:1

Also repeated in context with respect to the Priesthood of Christ Jesus our Lord. Since He ever lives to make intercesion for us.

The scriptural practice is to establish the truth of a matter by two or three witnessess.

[KJV] Deuteronomy 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

[KJV] Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of TWO witnesses, or at the mouth of THREE witnesses, SHALL THE MATTER BE ESTABLISHED.

[NIV] John 8:17 In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true.

[KJV] Matthew 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 14:27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

So what if a matter is evidenced too many times?

Then I’m persuaded to say without apology or mincing words that it could never have been an error nor mistake but AN ABSOLUTE BIBLICAL TRUTH!

Let’s Get Started!

To start with, let’s establish that Life is in Him

[KJV] John 1:4 In him was LIFE; and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men.

The condition to receive Eternal Life is BELIEVING! Nothing more, nothing less!

[NLT] John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,

[NLT] John 3:15 so that everyone who BELIEVES in him will have ETERNAL LIFE.

[NLT] John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT PERISH but HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

[NIV] John 3:36 Whoever BELIEVES in the Son has ETERNAL LIFE, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

[NIV] John 4:14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to ETERNAL LIFE.”

A believer has eternal life and hence will not be judged rather s/he has passed from death to life!

[NIV] John 5:24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me HAS ETERNAL LIFE and WILL NOT BE JUDGED but has CROSSED OVER from death TO LIFE.

[NIV] John 5:39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have ETERNAL LIFE. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me,

[NIV] John 5:40 yet you refuse to COME TO ME TO HAVE LIFE.

[NLT] John 6:39 And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day.

[NLT] John 6:40 For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have ETERNAL LIFE. I WILL RAISE THEM UP at the last day.”

[NIV] John 6:47 Very truly I tell you, the one who BELIEVES has ETERNAL LIFE.

[NIV] John 6:48 I am the bread of life.

[NLT] John 6:54 But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has ETERNAL LIFE, and I WILL RAISE THAT PERSON at the last day.

[KJV] John 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread SHALL LIVE FOR EVER.

[KJV] John 6:59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

[KJV] John 6:60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an HARD SAYING; who can hear it?

[KJV] John 6:66 From that time many of his disciples WENT BACK, and WALKED NO MORE with him.

[KJV] John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE.

[KJV] John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might HAVE LIFE, and that they might HAVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY.

[KJV] John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

[KJV] John 10:28 And I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE; and they SHALL NEVER PERISH, neither shall any man PLUCK THEM OUT of my hand.

[KJV] John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and NO MAN IS ABLE TO PLUCK THEM OUT of my Father’s hand.

[KJV] John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

[KJV] John 10:31 Then the Jews TOOK UP STONES AGAIN to stone him.

This in simple term is product guarantee called eternal security!

[NIV] John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the RESURRECTION and THE LIFE. The one who BELIEVES in me WILL LIVE, even though they die;

[NIV] John 11:26 and whoever lives by BELIEVING in me WILL NEVER DIE. Do you believe this?”

[NLT] John 17:1 After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you.

[NLT] John 17:2 For you have given him authority over everyone. He gives ETERNAL LIFE life to each one you have given him.

[NLT] John 17:3 And this is the way to have ETERNAL LIFE—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.

[KJV] Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto ETERNAL LIFE by Jesus Christ our Lord.

[NIV] Romans 6:22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and THE RESULT IS ETERNAL LIFE.

[NIV] Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE in Christ Jesus our Lord.

[NIV] 2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

[NIV] 2 Corinthians 1:21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,

[NIV] 2 Corinthians 1:22 set his SEAL OF OWNERSHIP ON US, and put HIS SPIRIT in our hearts as a DEPOSIT, GUARANTEEING what is to come.

[NIV] Ephesians 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were MARKED WITH A SEAL, the promised HOLY SPIRIT,

[NIV] Ephesians 1:14 who is a DEPOSIT GUARANTEEING OUR INHERITANCE until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

[NIV] Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were SEALED FOR THE DAY OF REDEMPTION.

NLT] Ephesians 4:30 And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, GUARANTEEING THAT YOU WILL BE SAVED ON THE DAY OF REDEMPTION.

This SEAL (#15 #16 #17) is a GUARANTEE giving us the unshakable assurance with which we speak boldly! ETERNAL SECURITY!

[NLT] Hebrews 5:8 Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.

[NLT] Hebrews 5:9 In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the SOURCE OF ETERNAL SALVATION FOR ALL those who obey him.

Check it out in other translations… ETERNAL SALVATION!

[KJV] Hebrews 6:16 For men verily SWEAR by the greater: and an OATH FOR CONFIRMATION is to them an end of all strife.

[KJV] Hebrews 6:18 That by TWO IMMUTABLE THINGS, in which it was IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to LAY HOLD UPON THE HOPE SET BEFORE US:

[KJV] Hebrews 6:19 Which HOPE we have as an ANCHOR of the soul, both SURE and STEADFAST, and which entereth into that within the veil;

This is like God creating a boundary for Himself just to give us Eternal Guarantee, He promised then confirmed it with an oath so that we could be rest assured of the promise

[NIV] Hebrews 7:24 but because Jesus LIVES FOREVER, he has a permanent priesthood.

[NIV] Hebrews 7:25 Therefore he is able to SAVE COMPLETELY those who come to God through him, because HE ALWAYS LIVES TO INTERCEDE FOR THEM.

I love how it’s rendered in AMPC

Hebrews 7
[25]Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and FOR ALL TIME AND ETERNITY) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.

[NLT] Hebrews 9:11 So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world.

[NLT] Hebrews 9:12 With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place ONCE FOR ALL TIME and SECURED OUR REDEMPTION FOREVER.

[NLT] Hebrews 9:14 Just think how much more THE BLOOD of Christ will PURIFY OUR CONSCIENCES from sinful deeds so that we can WORSHIP THE LIVING GOD. For by the power of the ETERNAL SPIRIT, Christ offered himself to God as a PERFECT SACRIFICE for our sins.

[NLT] Hebrews 9:15 That is why he is the one who MEDIATES A NEW COVENANT between God and people, so that ALL WHO ARE CALLED can RECEIVE THE ETERNAL INHERITANCE God has PROMISED THEM. For Christ died to SET THEM FREE FROM THE PENALTY OF THE SINS they had committed under that first covenant.

Our redemption is forever! Our inheritance is forever!

[KJV] Hebrews 10:14 For by ONE OFFERING he hath PERFECTED FOR EVER them that ARE SANCTIFIED.

[KJV] 1 Peter 1:2 ELECT according to the FOREKNOWLEDGE OF GOD the Father, through SANTIFICATION OF THE SPIRIT, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

[KJV] 1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath BEGOTTEN US again unto a LIVELY HOPE by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

[KJV] 1 Peter 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

[KJV] 1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

[KJV] 1 Peter 1:23 BEIGN BORN AGAIN, not of corruptible SEED, but of INCORRUPTIBLE, by the WORD OF GOD, which LIVETH and ABIDETH FOR EVER.

Is it possible for an incorruptible seed to germinate and give rise to corruptible produce? I strongly doubt it!

[KJV] 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

[KJV] 1 Peter 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

[KJV] 1 Peter 5:10 But the GOD OF ALL GRACE, who hath called us unto his ETERNAL GLORY by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGHTEN, SETTLE YOU.

[KJV] 1 Peter 5:11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

[KJV] 1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have SEEN with our eyes, which we have LOOKED UPON, and our hands have HANDLED, of the WORD OF LIFE;

[KJV] 1 John 1:2 (For the LIFE was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that ETERNAL LIFE, which was with the Father, and was MANIFESTED UNTO US;)

[KJV] 1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

[KJV] 1 John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your JOY MAY BE FULL.

[KJV] 1 John 3:14 We know that we have PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

[KJV] 1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath GIVEN to US ETERNAL LIFE, and this LIFE is in his Son.

[KJV] 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that YE MAY KNOW that YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

[KJV] Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to KEEP YOU FROM FALLING, and to PRESENT YOU FAULTLESS before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

Jude 1 AMPC
[24]Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]

If it’s my Salvation, then I could lose it, but since it’s not my Salvation, I CAN NOT LOSE IT!

I’m not the one keeping Salvation. HE KEEPS IT FOR ME! And He does it perfectly than I could ever do! Praise God!

Thanks for reading those scriptures,

Religion is a way of man seeking God which led us to having many religion (ways) , God now provided THE WAY by seeking man instead!

If sin has always been the problem between man and God, and God wanted to solve that problem, Will He find just a quick fix or an eternal/permanent/lasting solution?

A sinner goes to hell, not because s/he is a sinner but because s/he refused to believe THE WAY so as to receive eternal life.

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Simply preach the Gospel of Christ!

Not condemnation!

Never a need-based Gospel!

Never about Heaven nor eternal judgement!

Nothing but the Gospel of Christ and Christ Alone!

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you THE GOSPEL which I PREACHED unto you, which also ye HAVE RECEIVED, and WHEREIN YE STAND;

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, HOW THAT CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures;

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 15:4 And THAT HE WAS BURIED, and THAT HE ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures:

HIS BLOOD [Plus nothing/Minus nothing] DOES EVERYTHING!

Man’s part is simply believing! Faith in the FINISHED WORK!

since it’s a finished work, It’s Zero effort to the process!

Glory! Hallelujah!

Get Blood Conscious!

We Win in Christ!

Is Your Name in the Book of Life?

The-Gran-Book-with-Heavenly-Citizenship-n1gmw3p66jdj2rww2rj4v4imifddg6otv6s33jfda8[KJV] Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE.

[NIV] Revelation 20:15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was thrown into the lake of fire.

Those who are going to make heaven are those whose name are written in the lamb’s book of life! This leads us to one of the most dreadful question:

Is Your Name in the Book of Life?

After I received the life of Christ (salvation experience), I used to have unnecesary recurrent tachycardia coupled with phobia anytime I hear this question simply because I had some very funny unscriptural ideas😂

It was generally believed that you can never be sure of making heaven as long as you’re flesh and blood on this side of eternity (earth). Hence you should always examine yourself, confess your sins intermittently, pleading the blood of Jesus frequently, re-dedicating your life to Jesus etc. (sin consciousness)

Majority of the people who say the above are those who believed that salvation is an exchange. Jesus died for them and they now have to also give their life to Christ

This is absolutely unscriptural! Click Here for more!

If that belief was correct, So how come a man (flesh and blood) named Paul (an apostle) could be so sure of where he was going (Heaven)?

[KJV] 2 Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

[KJV] 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

[KJV] 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;[

KJV] 2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

[KJV] 2 Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

[KJV] 2 Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the TIME OF MY DEPARTURE IS AT HAND.

[KJV] 2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is LAID UP FOR ME A CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which THE LORD, THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, shall GIVE ME at that day: and NOT TO ME ONLY, but unto ALL THEM ALSO that love his appearing.

How could he be so certainly certain with all certainty that he was going to make it to heaven?

You shall find out soon, keep on reading…

This is a very important matter,
so be prepared to read a couple of scripture
before we draw our conculsion

[KJV] John 1:4 In him was LIFE; and THE LIFE was the light of men.

[KJV] John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have ETERNAL LIFE: and they are they which TESTIFY OF ME.

[KJV] John 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might HAVE LIFE.

[KJV] John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have ETERNAL LIFE.

[NIV] John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE.

[NIV] John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has ETERNAL LIFE, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

[NIV] John 6:40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and BELIEVES IN HIM shall HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and I will RAISE THEM UP at the last day.”

[NIV] John 6:27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to ETERNAL LIFE, which THE SON OF MAN WILL GIVE YOU. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”

[KJV] John 10:28 And I GIVE unto THEM ETERNAL LIFE; and they SHALL NEVER PERISH, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

[KJV] John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and NO MAN IS ABLE TO PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY FATHER’S HAND.

[KJV] Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord.

[NIV] 1 Timothy 1:16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would BELIVE IN HIM and RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE.

[NIV] John 17:1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.

[NIV] John 17:2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might GIVE ETERNAL LIFE to all those you have given him.

[NIV] John 17:3 Now THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

[NLT] Titus 1:2 This truth gives them confidence that THEY HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, which God—who does not lie—promised them before the world began.

[KJV] 1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the WORD OF LIFE;

[NLT] Titus 3:7 Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE.”

#FOURTEEN (Lastly)

[KJV] 1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that GOD HATH GIVEN US ETERNAL LIFE, and THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON.

[KJV] 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto YOU THAT BELIEVE ON THE NAME OF THE SON OF GOD; that ye MAY KNOW THAT YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

If you’re lost in all the scriptures, you could still quickly check the last one again.

Have you believed in the son?

If yes, it means you have the son!

Eternal life is in the son!

Because you have the son, you have recieved ETERNAL LIFE!

RECALL: Is your name in the Lamb's Book of Life?

You now know that: what you received at salvation is eternal life!

In the books (records) of those who have eternal life, what makes you doubt if your name is there or not?

It takes only an annoying preacher to complicate even the very simple things of Christ!

[KJV] Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

[KJV] Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

[KJV] Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS:

Perhaps you’re not sure yet, If you have the son, you have life and hence your name IS WRITTEN IN THE LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE!

You’re blessed because you are in Christ!

Should We Pray Much More in Tongues?

This got ME really super excited! While refreshing my insights in the place of study. It all adds up in an all-new dimension.

I’m sharing this post because I’ve seen some charter and post lately in attempts to prove some other unscriptural teachings make common or little the importance of Praying in Tongues!

So Most folks including myself believe in spending ample time to pray in the Holy Ghost but these guys don’t share that opinion…

 (I'm sorry I can't do a refresher course perhaps you're
unlearned concerning Spiritual things but
carefully read Chapter 12,13&14 of 1 Corinthians
in context for a good start)

I Corinthians 12 Explicitly unveils to us the Gifts (plural) of the Spirit unlike any other Epistles

Paul made us to know they (the gifts) are Nine (9) which are all part of the selfsame Spirit!

7 out of the 9 was seen in manisfestation throughout the Old Covenant with the exception of two.

These two was specially reserved to be unveiled in the New Covenant

They include;

  • Tongues and
  • Interpretation of Tongues

Then there must be something unique about the duo right?

Now let us do a needful digression

[NLT] Hebrews 8:6 But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is FAR SUPERIOR to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far BETTER COVENANT with God, BASED ON BETTER PROMISES.

  • The New Covenant is Better
  • The New Covenant is Based on Better Promises
  • The New is SUPERIOR to the old

[NLT] Hebrews 8:13 When God speaks of a “NEW” COVENANT, it means he has made the first one OBSOLETE. It is NOW OUT OF DATE and will soon disappear.

»The New Covenant is “New”

  • The First one (Old Covenant) is Obsolete
  • The Old Covenant is OUTDATED

Based on the above, let’s think of both as though an application software;

  • The Old Covenant is beta version or Version 1.0
  • The New Covenant is Final Version or Version 2.0

Now there’s a package in both versions called “Gifts of the Spirit”

  • The version 1.0 has 7 available features (of that package called gift of the Spirit)
  • Then Version 2.0 has 7 available features plus 2 extra premium features called (Tongues & Interpretation of Tongues)

That being said, there is a Church that was not lacking behind in maximizing all the 9 features in the Version 2.0

[NIV] 1 Corinthians 1:6 God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you.[

NIV] 1 Corinthians 1:7 Therefore YOU DO NOT LACK ANY SPIRITUAL GIFT as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

Now that we know that they had all the 9 in manifestation in that CHURCH, then here comes a man called Paul and he said something so profound!

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 14:18 I thank my God, I SPEAK WITH TONGUES MORE THAN YE ALL:

[NIV] 1 Corinthians 14:18 I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.

ONE MAN uses version 2.0 More than a whole CHURCH? Wow! #MyNumberOneExcitement!

[NIV] 1 Corinthians 14:19 But in the church I would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.

Reading in context, this man is saying he does more speaking in tongues than the whole church when not in Church especially right?

The emphasis in the whole chapter is on Tongues and Interpretation of tongues cum prophecy

This same man stressed how Tongues edifies the speaker and with interpretation edifies the Church in the same chapter (1 Corinthians 14)

He also said in another place about the version 2.0

[KJV] Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

[NIV] Ephesians 6:18 And PRAY IN THE SPIRIT ON ALL OCCASIONS with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

[NLT] Ephesians 6:18 PRAYER IN THE SPIRIT at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

And another person rendered it (version 2.0) this way;

[KJV] Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST.

[NIV] Jude 1:20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,

[NLT] Jude 1:20 But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit,

And James told us;

The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. James 5:16B AMPC

Now note that everyone who did #GreaterWorks according to John’s Gospel received the Version 2.0 Final Update 😉

[KJV] John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, THE WORKS THAT I DO shall HE DO ALSO; and GREATER WORKS than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

[KJV] Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be ENDUED WITH POWER from on high.

[KJV] Acts 1:8 But ye shall RECEIVE POWER, after that the HOLY GHOST IS COME UPON YOU: and ye shall be WITNESSESS UNTO ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

It then adds up to explain why Paul seems to do much more (wrote more epistles etc) and demonstrated it with the Spirit’s Power compared to other follower of Christ in his time.

The Supernatural was as though natural in Paul’s Ministry which would be simply because he used maximally and mastered the PREMIUM FEATURES OF THIS VERSION 2.0 (What really makes version 2.0 a true to be called 2.0)

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in DEMONSTRATION OF THE SPIRIT AND OF POWER:

He FULLY preached the gospel of Christ!

[KJV] Romans 15:18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by WORD and DEED,

[KJV] Romans 15:19 Through MIGHTY SIGNS AND WONDERS, by the POWER OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have FULLY PREACHED THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

He was  a very effective witness according to Acts 1:8 Yes?

We know that the Gospel without Power can not be the Gospel!

The Gospel does not attract the power of God!

[KJV] Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST: for it IS THE POWER OF GOD unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Lastly, we see here too the effect Paul’s mastery of version 2.0

[KJV] 1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in POWER, and IN THE HOLY GHOST, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

Note that everyone filled with the Holy Ghost spoke in tongues! Tongues was the evidence that they were filled

So shouldn’t we have mastery of the premium feature of Version 2.0 Also?

If you’re not lost in the illustrations, I suppose you have the correct answer ALREADY!

Perhaps you’re lost, RE-READ AGAIN and again maybe slower than before 😙

You’re blessed because you’re in Christ!

Prayer: My Exposition from James 5:13-18

34769-27112-cm-prayer-righteous-man-powerful-effective-socialJames 5:13‭-‬18 KJV

13. Is any among you afflicted? LET HIM PRAY. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

14. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and LET THEM PRAY over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

16. Confess your faults one to another, and PRAY ONE FOR ANOTHER, that ye may be healed. The effectual FERVENT PRAYER of a righteous man availeth much.

17. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and HE PRAYED EARNESTLY that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

18. And HE PRAYED AGAIN, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

My Deductions

#1 Prayer is mentioned not only in verse 16, it started from verse 13 and we could say that (in context) there is emphasis on prayer!

There is both praying and anointing in verse 14 but verse 15 made it clear by placing emphasis on prayer and not the oil used for the anointing. It is the PRAYER OF FAITH that shall save the sick

#2 The prayer (of the elders in verse 14) is a prayer of faith and It is the PRAYER of faith that will bring the healing

#3 The Healing of the sick comes before forgiveness! (Verse 15)

It wasn’t a mistake, Healing was paid for (in the atonement) and it happened even before the atonement.

[NIV] Matthew 8:16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.

[NIV] Matthew 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”

His Body was broken (He paid for healing) before He was crucified (died, was buried and ressurrected) and became the propritiation of our sins

[KJV] Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a PROPITIATION through faith IN HIS BLOOD, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

[NIV] Romans 3:25 God presented Christ as a SACRIFICE OF ATONEMENT, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—

[KJV] 1 John 2:2 And he is the PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

[NIV] 1 John 2:2 He is the ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

[KJV] 1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS.

[NIV] 1 John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS.

[KJV] Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is SHED for many FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS.

Raising the sick comes first followed secondly by forgiveness (If s/he has sinned)

Before you crucify that sister that “her sins are responsible for her sickness”, pray for her to be healed first! When she’s made whole, you can then address sin.

Don’t use her sin as a excuse for your failure when you had prayed and nothing seems to change!

Secret sins or whatever is to be dealt with later after the Healing. Never a requirement to guarantee receiving Healing!

#4 The confession of faults one to another is not to be forgiven nor healed (because the prayer of faith has already healed the sick), but to be made whole (i.e free from faults/offences from one to another)

The body of Christ having faults, offences one to another would be in strife, envy and in that atmosphere, evil practices will thrive.

There will be no desire to PRAY ONE FOR ANOTHER (which is of utmost importance)  and hence, the body is not whole,  wholesome, United etc.

[KJV] James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

#5 The prayer of a righteous man is a prayer of faith and it makes tremendous power available which is dynamic in its working (Verse 16B).

Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
James 5:16 AMPC

[KJV] James 1:6 But let him ASK IN FAITH, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

[KJV] James 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall RECEIVE any thing of the Lord.

[KJV] James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

A prayer when not in faith (doubt) can not affect or effect any change.

#6 Lastly, Verse 17 and 18 is an example of such prayer of faith of a righteous man (Elijah)

Hope you’re blessed?

You’re blessed because you’re in Christ!

“I Gave My Life to Christ”

Curry-The (Kindly read all through please, thanks)

This term has been used often times for “salvation experience” by most people (including myself) for years because;

“that was how we met it”

“that is what everybody says” etc.

But we hardly ever bothered to know that throughout the scriptures, it wasn’t used for salvation.

“To give your LIFE to the Lordwas only used ONCE in the Epistles

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 8:5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

This was used for service/commitment and never for salvation!

Salvation is to receive/God does the giving in Christ Jesus!

[KJV] John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own RECEIVED him not.

[KJV] John 1:12 But as many as RECIEVED HIM, to them GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

[KJV] John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that HE GAVE his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

[KJV] Acts 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had RECEIVED the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

[KJV] Acts 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might RECIEVE the Holy Ghost:

[KJV] Romans 5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which RECIEVED abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

You RECIEVE a gift! There is NO exchange!

[KJV] Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

[KJV] Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

[KJV] Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Our part is TO RECEIVE not give, it is not of works too!

It is on this unscriptural premise “I gave my life to Christ” that made one feel or think;

"I have not surrendered all..."
"I gave my life but took it back..."
"I gave my life but quickly borrowed it back..."
"I gave my life but withdrew it..."

But it is Jesus who gave to us and It’s ETERNAL!

[KJV] John 10:24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

[KJV] John 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

[KJV] John 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

[KJV] John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

[KJV] John 10:28 And I GIVE unto them ETERNAL LIFE; and they shall NEVER PERISH, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

[KJV] John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

You can’t perish with eternal life! GLORY!

[KJV] 1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

[KJV] 1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

[KJV] 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

We have eternal life now! At salvation God gives and we receive!

However in service we give (of all He gave us) and he recieves.

For further reading

[KJV] Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

[KJV] Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy mouth THE LORD JESUS, and shalt BELIEVE in thine heart THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, thou shalt BE SAVED.

[KJV] Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you THE GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also YE HAVE RECEIVED, and wherein ye stand;

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures;

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 15:4 And that HE WAS BURIED, and that HE ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures:

[KJV] 1 Corinthians 15:11 Therefore whether it were I or they, SO WE PREACH, and SO YE BELIEVED.

Any Gospel that makes little or exclude (His death, burial and ressurection) is NOT THE Gospel!

[KJV] Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the AUTHOR of ETERNAL SALVATION unto ALL THEM THAT OBEY HIM;

[NIV] Hebrews 5:9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of ETERNAL SALVATION for all who obey him

[NLT] Hebrews 5:9 In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source OF ETERNAL SALVATION  for all those who obey him.

[KJV] Hebrews 7:24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

[KJV] Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to SAVE THEM TO THE UTTERMOST that come unto God by him, seeing HE EVER LIVETH to make intercession for them.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a SHADOW of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, CAN NEVER with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually MAKE the comers thereunto PERFECT.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thout wouldest not, BUT A BODY hast thou prepared me:

[KJV] Hebrews 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin THOU HAST HAD NO PLEASURE.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

[KJV] Hebrews 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIRST, that he may ESTABLISH THE SECOND.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of THE BODY of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:11 And every priest STANDETH DAILY and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which CAN NEVER TAKE AWAY SINS:

[KJV] Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS FOR EVER, sat down on the right hand of God;

[KJV] Hebrews 10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

[NIV] Hebrews 10:14 For by one sacrifice he has MADE PERFECT FOREVER those who are being made holy.

[NLT] Hebrews 10:14 For by that one offering he FOREVER MADE PERFECT those who are being made holy.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

[KJV] Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their HEARTS, and in their MINDS will I write them;

[KJV] Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I REMENBER NO MORE.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

[KJV] Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, he is a NEW creature: old things are passed away; behold, ALL THINGS ARE become NEW.

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath RECONCILED US to HIMSELF by JESUS CHRIST, and hath given to us the MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION;

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was IN CHRIST, RECONCILING THE WORLD unto himself, NOT IMPUTING their trespasses unto them; and hath COMMITTED unto us THE WORD OF RECONCILIATION.

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, BE YE RECONCILED to God.

[KJV] 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, who knew no sin; that we might be MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM.

Hope you’re blessed?

I supposed quite a number must have heard this cliche amongst the Christain faith

“Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set, don’t forsake tradition”

Below is the scriptural reference

[KJV] Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

Is this verse really talking about “not forsaking old tradition/practice“? Let’s see

Let us read in context by seeing the proceeding verse

[KJV] Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

[KJV] Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

Could they be possibly talking about frowning decietfulness (being a cheat) and encouraging diligence instead?

Let’s find out

Let us cross-reference it in the light of other available scriptures

[KJV] Deuteronomy 19:14 Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it.

[KJV] Proverbs 23:10 Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:
[KJV] Proverbs 23:11 For their redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

I believe we’re seeing the truth as it is now! yes or yes?

Let us examine the same text in two other version (NIV and NLT) in strict compliance with the “Principle of Context” #One above

[KJV] Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

[NIV] Proverbs 22:28 Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors.

[NLT] Proverbs 22:28 Don’t cheat your neighbor by moving the ancient boundary markers set up by previous generations.

[KJV] Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

[NIV] Proverbs 22:29 Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.

[NLT] Proverbs 22:29 Do you see any truly competent workers? They will serve kings rather than working for ordinary people.

Based on the findings above;

The text was refering to land boundaries, it has nothing to do with “old tradition” or “old practices”.

Why should any leader (anyone) use this text to enslave or manipulate people whenever a scriptural change is needful?

This is pure Preachercraft!

Whenever Christian practices are based on false premises, apostasy, error, heresy etc. are inevitable!

And hence, change (un-learning and re-learning) is needful!

It doesn’t matter how many centuries it’s been done nor the social standing of the leader, A change is needed!

Every of “your experiences” must be based on THE WORD! And not otherwise!

Perhaps you’re a victim, I hope you will take correction…

You’re Blessed because you’re in Christ!
