Holy Ghost Baptism & Power (An Obtainable Feat) 

This post is for you if you’ve been baptised into Christ by the Holy Ghost (Had Salvation experience) and you’ve been baptised in the Holy Ghost by Christ Himself (Matthew 3:11,Mark 1:8,Luke 3:16 & John 1:33) with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and you don’t feel like you have power yet.

[NIV] Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

[NLT] Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

The scripture above boldy states that you have power even though you don’t feel like it yet, you are living, breathing, walking, powerhouse. You don’t just realise it yet.

From Physics (Mechanics/Electricity & Magnetism)

Energy, simply put, is the ability to do work (IVT)

Power is the rate of doing work (IVT/T)

Thus, power is the rate of energy transferred per time (IV)

NOTE: The Keywords here include; Power, Energy and Work (Feeling is not there)

Irrespective of how you feel (elated or sad), it will not stop you from having a shocking experience when you touch (by accident or intentional) an 11KVA live wire.

That being said, power if generated and not put to good use (work) will get dessipated right?

So HOW DO YOU (practically) GENERATE (that) POWER (in your daily living) AFTER YOU’D RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT?

[AMP] James 5:16 The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

[KJV] Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

I would suggest that you start by praying non-stop (in other tongues only) for at least 30 minutes though 60 minutes would be a good (recommended) start then step it up from there.

Evidence suggest that anything you do consistently for 21 days becomes a habit (Google it 👍). Do this until it becomes a good habitual practice. I can assure you that you will learn and discover several other benefits in the process until you get to a peak where you’ll realise that you’re now uttering some prophetic declaration concerning issues of life, people or certain things.

I can bet you that those utterances are very prophetic and ladened with divine power to fulfillment…

Being a Witness of Jesus (Preparation of the Gospel of Peace)

As earlier stated, power is meant to accomplish something (effective work) and the work here is witnessing from your very own Jerusalem (Family), to your Judea (neighbourhood), Samaria (Workplace, etc.) and other spheres and walk of life…

The Gospel does not attract the power of God, the Gospel does not simulate the power of God, The GOSPEL IS THE POWER OF GOD (personified).

[KJV] Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

With all the power and spiritual manifestations you would have experienced from following step one above, you might not or would not feel any different from the previous you. I actually felt disappointed because I consciously or unconsciously assumed I’d appear/feel like one named Lord Raiden in Mortal Kombat or The Flash, Thor and similar characters of Marvel Comics (Don’t laugh please) But it does not work like it’s sketched in manga or shown in motion pictures.

So the litmus-test to convince your very seat of logic (head) and your heart (emotions) that you’re a power house is by witnessing. God is a very faithful God. He will always prove Himself to be God wherever His Word is preached. He will never let His Word fall to the ground.

[KJV] Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

[NIV] Mark 16:20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

[NLT] Mark 16:20 And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.

Your head (logic) will be flabberwhemled and overgasted with the divers miracles, signs and wonders that will follow whenever and wherever you stand to be a witness.

This is because God does not need your ability, He only needs your availability (empty vessels). He will not call for those that are qualified, He qualifies those He calls.

Remain blessed as you become an accredited agent and authorised dispenser of God’s tremendous power for every good works in your daily living.

Study: 30 Minutes of Daily Exercise Best for Weight Loss

Do you think spending an hour at the gym every day is going to get you to your weight-loss goals? Think again.  According to a new study, less might be more! But is that really the case?

To conduct their study, researchers at the University of Copenhagen divided a group of sedentary, overweight men into three groups, asking them all to keep food diaries.

The first group didn’t exercise at all, the second group exercised daily for 30 minutes (at a moderate pace that caused them to burn 300 calories) and the third group worked out daily for 60 minutes, at the same intensity as the other group (burning 600 calories per workout).

Guess who lost the most weight after 13 weeks?

The men in the middle! The men in the 30-minute group lost about seven pounds each, which is about 80 percent MORE than what the researchers were expecting. Meanwhile, the men in the 60- minute group lost an average of five pounds each, which was about 20 percent LESS than what the researchers would have predicted.

Mads Rosenkilde, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Copenhagen and lead author of the study, tells HealthySELF that he was surprised by the results of the study. “What was surprising was that the moderate-dose exercise group had a negative energy balance, i.e., loss of fat mass, that was nearly the double of what could be expected from the amount of calories that they burned while exercising,” he says. “Meanwhile, the high-dose exercise group had a negative balance that was … lower than predicted!”

However, he does point out that both exercise regimes were effective, but the moderate dose of exercise proved More effective for losing weight. “This is a very interesting study which could have major ramifications for the fitness industry,” Jim White, American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer, tells HealthySELF. “But before you slash your cardio, it is still early yet,” he cautions, explaining that it’s possible that the 30-minute-a-day group lost more weight within the time frame of the study because the 60-minute group was too tired to engage in any more activity throughout the day.

Personally and as a Physiotherapist, I believe that less is more and more is less. Losing weight is but not limited to exercise (Cardio) nor hours spent in the gym. It also include other important factor like diet and sleep. The basic principle of losing weight is to be able to burn more than you are consuming (calorie intake). Adding weight simply would be to eat more than your body is burning. So what’s the point of spending half hour or an hour in the gym only to return and consume all the calories you’ve just burnt? So it suffice to say that fats are not necessarily burnt in the gym but in the kitchen and same for muscle building. Weight lifting will not build your muscles,  proteins (diet)  will. Lifting weight will only stimulate your muscle creating the favourable environment for hypertrophy (muscle bulking).

Also,  looking at our weight management product, one of the recommended exercise for the 9 day programme is a  half-hour moderate intensity exercise e.g Brisk walking which has recently been supported with clinical evidence. It can then be noticed that the exercise and diet factor has been carefully planned to maximise burning fat and losing weight.

Conclusively,  more is not always more and less is not always less as one may think. A pig is any of the animals in the genus Sus, within the Suidae family of even-toed ungulates. Pigs include the domestic pig and its ancestor, the common Eurasian wild boar (Sus scrofa), along with other species; related creatures outside the genus include the wild boar, peccary, the babirusa, and the warthog. Pigs, like all suids, are native to the Eurasian and African continents. Juvenile pigs are known as piglets. Pigs are omnivores and are highly social and intelligent animals. It has also been shown through research some similarities between pig and human genome.

Pigs do not have sweat glands/pores that could possibly help in thermo-regulation especially in hot weather condition. To keep cool, they need to roll in the mud as rhinos do.
