The scripture above boldy states that you have power even though you don’t feel like it yet, you are living, breathing, walking, powerhouse. You don’t just realise it yet.

I would suggest that you start by praying non-stop (in other tongues only) for at least 30 minutes though 60 minutes would be a good (recommended) start then step it up from there.

Evidence suggest that anything you do consistently for 21 days becomes a habit (Google it 👍). Do this until it becomes a good habitual practice. I can assure you that you will learn and discover several other benefits in the process. You will pray to a point where you’ll realise some words are coming to you.

This words were never in your mind before praying! You’d also notice you’re now uttering some prophetic declaration concerning issues of life, people or certain things. It might interest you to know that those are the interpretation of your tongues.

I can bet you that those utterances are very prophetic and ladened with divine power to fulfillment…

As earlier stated, power is meant to accomplish something (effective work) and the work here is witnessing from your very own Jerusalem (Family), to your Judea (neighbourhood), Samaria (Workplace, etc.) and other spheres and walk of life… Anywhere and Everywhere you find yourself.

The Gospel does not attract the power of God, the Gospel does not simulate the power of God, The GOSPEL IS THE POWER OF GOD (personified).

[KJV] Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

With all the power and spiritual manifestations you would have made available on experienced from following step one above, you might not or would not feel any different from the previous you. I actually felt disappointed because I consciously or unconsciously assumed I’d appear/feel like one named Lord Raiden in Mortal Kombat or The Flash, Thor Son of Odin and similar characters of Marvel Comics (Don’t laugh please) But it does not work like it’s sketched in manga or shown in motion pictures.

So the litmus-test to convince your very seat of logic (head) and your heart (emotions) that you’re a power house is by witnessing. God is a very faithful God. He will always prove Himself to be God wherever His Word is preached. He will never let His Word fall to the ground.

Prayer: A Spirit-Spirit Intercourse (The Fellowship of Spirits)

…We live within time, but God (being a spirit-being John 4:24) lives outside of time. So time itself only exist on this side of eternity (Earth)…

Prayer is one of the most tasking (physically and mentally demanding) spiritual exercise for mankind. I’m sure you could relate with that already.

It comes so easy to sing since it appeals to your emotion, read (not necessarily study/meditate on) the bible because your Pastor will ask you “If you did/didn’t?” and “Where you read/why not?” and other reasons…, but finding the time to pray (in your closet), It’s a real civil war you’d have to fight.

It’s no big deal to attend musical concerts, praise night, and the likes for the reason above. The attendance in the yearly THE EXPERIENCE held at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos also confirms that. But for a prayer submit and the likes, the attendance most times would be the exact opposite of a similar musical concert.

But how do one learn how to do something? It’s by doing it anyway. The only way to learn how to sing is by singing anyway. The only way to learn how to run is not by watching sprinters nor thinking like one, but by actually doing the running yourself. The only way to learn how to read books is by reading books and same principle applies to learning how to pray. Evidence suggests that you have mastery for any task when you do it for 10,000 hours (Google it 😜).

Prayer is a spiritual exercise… You are communicating with God (A Spirit being. John 4:24) by your own spirit through the Holy Spirit (Jude 20) living on the inside of you (I Corinthians 6:19).

Simply put, prayer is a spirit-spirit Intercourse / interaction / inter-phase / affair / exchange / transaction / venture / conference-call / meeting / synchronisation / super-impose… etc. A (your own) spirit talking to The Spirit (God) and The Father of all Spirits (Hebrew 12:9) talking back.

Initially, when you finally resolve to praying, just a small 5 minutes prayer could seem as though eternity (forever). But when you start praying consistently and practicing it long enough (especially in other tongues than in your understanding), humanity gives way for divinity… 2 hours prayer would seem as though just 2 minutes and you just don’t want to stop (end the discussion) Then you’d say as though Brother Peter at the Mount of Transfiguration “Lord let us kuku ma dey abide here kwa” (Paraphrased).

The reason why it seems so is because in the realm of the Father of Spirits, a thousand years is but a day [Not factual, just an estimate] and thus 40 years (on this side of eternity) is but an hour (Marvin Sapp’s You Are God Alone,Diary of A Psalmist Album)…

So one thing that’s needful is transcending the humanity consciousness for divinity consciousness where there’s divine algorithm for time compression, as haven left the outer and inner courts of God to the very Holy of Holies (Throne Room)…, WE HAVE a perfect Communion/ fellowship with THE FATHER in the language of the Spirit.

The above illustrations are not literal you know? A believer is ALWAYS in the Spirit and he’s a luxury apartment of God [either he’s praying or not praying He’s irreversibly born of the Spirit]

In The Spirit, you have Access (top / level 5 clearance) to divine secrets (highly classifieds) of God (I Corinthians 2:6-14). There are answers to every prayers, receiving directions for your next move in Spiritual and even carnal things—who to marry, where to work…. Someone called Tongues ” a Spiritual downloading software ” (lol). You can never be confused as to what choice to make, what’s next to be done etc.

1 Corinthians 14:2 You’re in the Spirit when you Pray in Tongues and there’s no mystery [secret, things that require explanation] to you in the Spirit.

It is your Spirit speaking the mystery to God though no one understands tongues and your understanding may be unfruitful hence the term “speaks mystery”. The mystery is to the mind—Yours and others but not to God.

So the interpretation of tongues gives you direction or meaning to the discussion you had with God in the Spirit

NB: It’s called “Interpretation” not Translation” or “transliteration”

You couldn’t have  bowed to The Father of Spirits [in Prayer] and then bow [give in, succumb] to difficult situations No way! The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. (James 5:16B AMP)

There is a funny saying among contemporary Yoruba speakers that “ina buruku lo n se buredi jina” and my prefered interpretation is “The intensity of the vigorous heat speaks volume for a daily functional bakery” to mean the awareness [knowledge or full recognition] of God’s Presence (Power and Glory) you have [especially in the place of prayer] speaks for you in every areas of your endeavors.

Learn to tarry long enough in the place of prayer to being a CONSCIOUS-daily-carrier of His Glory everywhere you go. It’s the greatest assets you could ever possess on this side of eternity that’s of eternal value. Always be conscious of the fact that you’re not praying to a distant fellow. The Father now dwells in you eternally by His Spirit!

Never rush in/out of the Fellowship of Spirits, wait for The Father of Spirits to talk back to you. It’s not a one-way thing. Talk to Him and He gives you a reply by His Spirit to your own Spirit then to your mind.

The Love Triangle

Jude was the first and last boyfriend I ever had before I got married to James.

We were so into each other that every one that saw us together thought we were going to end up together.

We were emotionally tied, we were academically tied and as accountants in the professional field, we were professionally tied too!

We ran the race of ICAN, ANAN and other accounting professional courses together.

He knew too well that being a carreer woman had been my aim since the start. I had wanted to practise on my own although working with a good firm before starting mine wasn’t that a bad idea.

I got married to James by divine intervention because along the way, I met Christ and He led me to my BEST!

One day, the day I will never forget, I was shopping at the Men’s section of Eko Mall when my phone rang and my husband asked me to meet him outside.

He was supposed to be at work!

I saw him close to his Lexus jeep but with a friend I had not seen in like five years of our marriage- Jude!

My crush! My first love!

My heart craved for that special hug that he always gave me then. His warm, masculine hug!

“Jude!” I exclaimed happily and I really couldn’t hide my joy as he came close to me.

“Can I?” He asked my husband as he stretched his hands to hug me.

I turned to look at James again as Jude gave his last opportunity.

I was in a dilemma!

But, was James really going mad? Was he? How could he choose what he feels over what I like? Why?

I looked into Jude’s face and he was smiling broadly.

I was confused and closed my eyes for a while till all I could see was stark darkness! Till I couldn’t hear the sound of the cars passing, till the only sound I could audibly hear was the sound of my heartbeat.

And slowly, I turned from my ambition, my first love, my past and walked towards the jeep where my husband was!

My husband jumped out of the car and started running towards me, smiling gleefully.

“She chose me! Just me! Yes, she chose me! I told him you might have been with him for years and all but your heart now longs for me, only me! He said we should see if the job and his fresh look wouldn’t make you go with him! He challenged me! He asked for a test! He asked for a test darling and I didn’t want to do it but I told him I would do it for him to see my wife’s submission to His will! Then, you listened to Him! YOu did!”

When did my husband become a talkative?

My face was already wet with tears as he spoke.

I had series of goosebumps as he spoke to me.

2. Jude had been a lookout for Emerald even though she was married. Why now? Well, the defeated foe is forever doomed and he doesn’t want to go to hell alone. He is on the lookout for you and I no matter how long or how not long you became married to Jesus!

3. Jude was even courting Emerald stylishly in the presence of her husband! What audacity! Well, does that evil guy care? No he doesn’t! He can bring temptation anywhere to us, even in the church! Beware!

4. James was not going to talk too much. No is no. if you seek for any other option, that is now left to you. That is the same way God says He has set life and death before us. He thereafter urges us to choose life!

5. Jude was only testing Emerald to see her level of devotion and commitment to James over her ambitions and goals in life. If there is a chance for us to choose between what we loved doing most and God, sincerely, what would be our choices?

6. James didn’t drive off even after he had told her to do her wish. He stood right there in the jeep waiting for her. Even in temptation and trials of faith when God seems silent, He actually is there, waiting and sincerely wishing that YOU CHOOSE HIM!

7. Emerald closed her eyes in prayers while in dilemma. She was confused as she weighed the pros and cons. Who is our first port of call when we are in a triangle?

8. She also closed her eyes, mind, all, till nothing else mattered but His sure voice alone! Do we seek to listen at all? Do we? Above all the noise around, do we seek His voice?

10. James jumped to his feet with joy as he was the chosen one! When next you are tempted, remember the smile of God that can calm the raging sea and chose right. You wouldn’t want that smile turn to frown, would you? He would run to hug you. Ask the prodigal son if he didn’t run. God runs to welcome a straying sheep.
